Five full page jigsaws - jigsaws are embedded in the thick pages - and accompanying text; The Fox trot; Poor Pixie Pierrots ( I think the 'poor' refers to their lack of musicianship); Pussy cook; Seven Silly Elves; The Goat's Breakfast. Covers with bit of edgewear and grubbiness, but very solid. may have been transparent leaves over the jigsaws at one point, but none remain. A charming item. All the jigsaw pieces are present and in good condition.

A wonderful Victorian parlour game, made by McLoughlin Bros of New York. A sort of early version of Trivial Pursuit, in wooden box with pictorial cover in truly excellent condition. Museum quality, housed in a square mahogany box, 29cm wide Three circular overlays, and three question discs printed both sides. A hand housed beneath a glass pane spins magnetically to reveal the correct answer depending on the positioning of the disc.
